In memory of Lou Roy. Lou did not have the time to live into his senior years unfortunately. As always My hope is that his portrait might bring a little healing to the broken hearts he suddenly had to leave behind.
This is an 8"x8" size painting. Click here to see more 8x8 samples
Below is the image I referenced to create Lou's portrait.
Meet sweet Sam and his beloved tennis ball. It was clear to me from his photos provided that Sam loves his tennis ball. After a long day at work, Sam's human Dad would play fetch with him in the back yard. Sam passed away this past March. I was honored to paint a loving memorial of him with his tennis ball for a special fathers day gift.
Below are the two images of Sam that I referenced. I liked the front facing view of him looking at the camera, but I felt he needed his ball, so I painted that in from the other photo.

So much fun to paint these two pack mates Ellie and Athena. These 8x8 paintings were given as a Father's Day gift. I can picture Ellie and Athena playing and romping together, living their best life. Caillou's beautiful big green eyes were such a pleasure to paint. This sweet little kitty portrait was given as a gift. This is an 8x8 oil painting, focusing on the face. Please contact me if you are looking for a custom one of a kind gift for the pet lover in your life.
This image of Cody is literally the day he was adopted! I was so inspired to receive this image especially on National Rescue Dog Day May 20th. This portrait was a donation to the Mainely Mutts raffle. I love to connect and donate my pet paintings to help with rescue groups raise funds.
Painting sweet Coal as a memorial to his life. Coal had to say good bye way to soon, I was honored to have his spirit on my easel and I hope it helps heal his owners hearts a little bit each day.

I am always humbled and honored to be asked to paint a beloved pet that has crossed the rainbow bridge. Naybo will be given as a gift from a daughter to father who misses his little pup taken from him way too soon.

Such a pleasure to do a sweet little painting of Monkey. These 8x8 oil paintings are fun, quick and expressive. My most favorite way to paint pets is to really focus on the face and the beautiful unique features of fur, eyes and whiskers. Monkey was a purrfect subject.
Pretty little Sadie Mae made it to my easel this past week. I love her expression and big round greens eyes. The cropped composition of this 8x10 painting was fun for me to paint.
