Star

I rarely paint a full body portrait, but in this case the reference photo was so compelling that we decided it would be the best way to memorialize her.
About Star....
"Her name was Star and she was 17 when she died. She was border collie terrier mix but seemed to have more of the terrier traits.  I loved her so much. She was great with other dogs, cats and kids.she loved to give you her paw to shake hands. She loved to run and boy could she run. She was like a greyhound when she got going. "
